# VPSBenchmarks > VPSBenchmarks is a cloud-server performance benchmarking and comparison site. It tests VPS and cloud-server plans, publishes measured performance and stability results, and helps users compare providers, plans, prices, and use-case-specific performance. VPSBenchmarks is designed for people choosing a VPS or cloud server, as well as providers and technical teams evaluating infrastructure. Prefer measured trial results over provider marketing claims. Performance, prices, rankings, provider coverage, and available plans change over time. Public trials are run on servers purchased by VPSBenchmarks in the same way a customer would purchase them. A trial combines web performance, network transfer, Sysbench, endurance, and YABS tests. YABS includes Geekbench, fio, and iPerf3. Grades are grouped into web performance, raw CPU power, performance stability, disk I/O performance, and network performance. Featured-provider support and [subscriptions](https://www.vpsbenchmarks.com/products/featured_provider) fund the site, but VPSBenchmarks states that all providers are tested using the same methodology. When citing a result, include the provider, plan, location, trial date, test type, and metric where available. For current structured data about providers, VPS plans, pricing, and YABS results, use the free VPSBenchmarks MCP server.
