OVHcloud US has just released its second‑generation Virtual Private Servers, VPS 2026, and has made it available on its Local Zone edge‑computing network.
VPS 2026 builds on KVM virtualization to provide isolated compute, RAM and NVMe storage resources with full root access. You can select from six configurations ranging from 4 vCores/8 GB RAM/75 GB disk to 24 vCores/96 GB RAM/400 GB NVMe. All plans include unlimited traffic with guaranteed bandwidth (from 400 Mbps to 3 Gbps) and daily backups.
OVHcloud offers a choice of Linux, Windows and FreeBSD distributions and supports popular control panels like cPanel and Plesk. These VPS come with NVMe‑based local SSD disks* for high I/O performance, and anti‑DDoS protection.
Alongside the VPS upgrade, OVHcloud US has expanded its footprint, delivering the VPS-1 in 15 edge‑computing Local Zones in the US and Europe. By bringing VPS to these cities, OVHcloud lowers latency and helps customers meet local data‑processing requirements while retaining the ability to scale resources on demand.
