Hexabyte has launched a new S3-compatible object storage service based in the EU, Sweden. The service is designed to integrate with standard S3-compatible tools and APIs and can be used across a variety of workloads.
The price is €5 / TB / month with free ingress, egress and API calls.
Typical use cases include:
- Server, database, and file backups
- Application storage requiring an S3-compatible API
- Media and file archives for images, video, and documents
- Cloud storage for developers and businesses requiring EU-based data residency
All data is stored within the European Union and encrypted at rest.
