dataforest cloud has launched GPU Seeds, cloud servers with one, two, four or eight dedicated NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. They are billed by the hour with no minimum term and no setup fee. GPU Seeds are currently available in Frankfurt, Germany.
Seeds are the platform's virtual servers. A GPU Seed is a Seed with one or more GPUs attached by PCIe passthrough. Each card belongs to a single Seed and is neither shared nor partitioned. The vCPUs are dedicated as well, with one CPU thread reserved exclusively for every vCPU. Each card has 96 GB of GDDR7 VRAM with ECC and 1,597 GB/s of memory bandwidth.
GPU Seeds come in four sizes:
An IPv4 address is optional and costs €1.00 net per month. Every size includes 20 TB of outbound traffic per month and up to 10 Gbit/s of connectivity. The system disk is stored as three replicas on Ceph.
Because GPU Seeds are regular Seeds, they come with the same tooling as every other Seed, including the web console and public REST API, snapshots and backups, block storage, firewall rules and DDoS protection.
For GPU Seeds, dataforest cloud offers an Ubuntu 24.04 image with the NVIDIA driver and CUDA 13.4 already installed. Other images can be used as well, in which case the customer has to install the driver and CUDA.
Sizes, prices and the FAQ are listed on the GPU Seeds product page.
